IMPORTANT! NEW STATE LAW!
New York State is requiring all Contractors and subcontractors to register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. This includes all public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. The registration applies to both New York State and out-of-state businesses.
NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule. Contractor registration data will be available to the public at New York’s Open Data website after December 30, 2024.

Cornell University George Jameson And High Rise 5 Storefront Replacement
Description: Demolish and replace all of the existing entry storefront systems. All the existing storefronts will be replaced with a new aluminum storefront system which includes frames, doors, glazing, and door hardware. Provide patching to the interior finishes is also required.

Village of Interlaken WWTP Improvements REBID
Description: Contract 1: General Construction. The Project shall include the replacement of the existing trickling filter treatment system with a membrane bioreactor treatment system having a fine screen, ultraviolet light disinfection, and post aeration. Additionally, a new sludge processing system is proposed including, but not limited to, a submersible sludge pump station/force main, sludge holding tank repurposing sludge drying beds and open-air building, and site work. Also, part of this project is the demolition/decommissioning of the existing WWTP.

Cornell University Renovate Livestock Pavilion for Surge Space Phase 2
Description: Renovate approximately 15,400 sf of the Livestock Pavilion into surge space for future laboratory and office use. Work includes construction of a second-floor addition within the existing building volume, including associated concrete foundations and structural steel. It also involves improvements to the exterior building envelope to include replacement of the lower slate roof, removal and/or replacement of exterior doors and storefront systems, upgrades to exterior walls for energy performance and repairs to historic wood windows and wood trim. The scope includes construction of interior partitions, flooring, ceilings, casework, laboratory equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and audio-visual systems. Exterior work will also include construction of concrete sidewalks, plantings, and modifications of/upgrades to storm drainage systems.

Cornell University West Campus Generator Coverage Expansion and 13.2Kv Upgrade
Description: 1. The intent of this project is to re-feed the gothic buildings at West Campus from the 13.2-kv electrical distribution system and remove the portion of the 2.4-kv electrical distribution system serving west campus. 2. The work also includes removing the diesel generators at Baker Tower and Lyon Hall and refeeding these buildings from the emergency generator at Carl Becker House. 3. The scope includes a new underground concrete encased ductbank, new concrete manholes and composite handholes, generator feeder and start circuit from Carl Becker House to Baker Tower and Lyon Hall, a new oil-filled medium-voltage transformer to serve Baker Tower and Boldt Hall, new single-phase dry-type transformers to serve Lyon Hall. 4. The replacement of all of the automatic transfer switches located at Baker Tower, Baker North, Baker South, Boldt Hall, Boldt Tower, Lyon Hall, and Founders Hall with 4-pole switches.
