IMPORTANT! NEW STATE LAW!

New York State is requiring all Contractors and subcontractors to register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. This includes all public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. The registration applies to both New York State and out-of-state businesses.

NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule. Contractor registration data will be available to the public at New York’s Open Data website after December 30, 2024.

South Seneca CSD 2022 Capital Improvements Project - Phase 2
Description: General ConstructionContract: Work at Elementary and high School including demolition, concrete removal, and trenching for plumbing and electrical utilities. Re-pour concrete slabs, patch floors and walls, and match adjacent finishes after utility installations. Complete asbestos abatement coordination, including removal of vapor barriers, wall/floor patching, and coordination with qualified abatement subcontractors. Roofing work, including removal and patching for HVAC penetrations, installation of blocking, curbs, flashings, and insulation. Doors and hardware installation; coordinate with electrical for powered or controlled openings. Ceiling removal/reinstallation, framing, drywall patching, and finish carpentry for abatement and new MEP work. Provide all temporary partitions, dust control, and protection in occupied school areas. Maintain site safety and restrict access per school security requirements.

Cornell University Schoellkopf Memorial Football Locker Room Renovation
Description: Scope of work includes finish upgrades, minor toilet and shower room improvements and installation of a kitchenette. The owner purchased lockers, an A/V system and lighting. Remove the existing oversized exhaust fan and install two (2) small in-line fans to separate the football locker room from the Women's lacrosse locker room. Alternate work includes circuitry work for the locker room exhaust fans (#1) and renovations to update the Coaches’ locker room.

Chabad Downtown / The Rohr Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life at Binghamton University
Description: The Chabad Downtown Project at 30 Wall Street, Binghamton NY, under the ownership of The Rohr Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life, entails comprehensive interior and exterior renovations and sitework of an existing two-story commercial facility. The purpose is to transform the structure into a multi-use Chabad Center that will include: -A place of worship (synagogue and social hall) -Educational/classroom spaces -Residential/hospitality suites (R-1/R-2 occupancies) for guests and clergy -Administrative offices, a library, and program rooms -A Mikvah (ritual bath) and associated changing/bathing areas -Kitchen facilities (main kitchen and “Pesach” kosher kitchen). The work includes new interior layouts, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, finishes, accessibility upgrades, and selective façade and site improvements such as canopy replacement and new patios.
